Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Baker Boys’/Baker Youth Club is celebrating a milestone — 100 years of serving youth and families in Warsaw and the surrounding community.
To mark this special anniversary, BYC will host a community celebration on Saturday, Aug. 15 from 12 to 6 p.m. in the BYC parking lot, 1401 E. Smith St., Warsaw. The event will celebrate not only Baker Boys’/Baker Youth Club’s history, but also the community that has supported and strengthened the Club for the past century, according to a provided news release.
The celebration will include live music, kids’ activities, a professional rib cooking competition and more. Families, alumni, supporters and community members are invited to join the fun and help celebrate 100 years of impact, memories and continued service to local youth.
“For 100 years, Baker Boys’/Baker Youth Club has been a place where kids are welcomed, encouraged and supported,” said Tracy Furnivall, executive director of Baker Youth Club. “This milestone belongs to our entire community — generations of families, donors, volunteers, staff and supporters who have helped make BYC what it is today. We are excited to celebrate together.”
Community members are encouraged to bring their families, invite their friends, and join BYC this Saturday for a day of celebration.
