Kosciusko County is blessed with a huge variety of quality artistic performances.
The Masterworks Festival begins this week, the Wagon Wheel Theatre summer season is already in full swing, and throughout the school year there are many more performance opportunities at Grace College, the Lakeland Community Concerts, and the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center, to name just a few.
Based on the number of artistic events that our community supports, it is evident that the people of Kosciusko County value the arts. The question we want to ask is, "Are these values being passed on to the children of Kosciusko County?"
We on the board of Classic Arts Programs believe that one of the best ways to learn appreciation for quality music is to be educated with quality music instruction. We believe that we have an opportunity for the youth in this area to do just that.
The Lakeland Chorale is a select choir for students in grades 3-8. Proper vocal training, choral instruction and fun are had by all.
We would like to alert the people of Kosciusko County to this unique opportunity for their children and grandchildren and to encourage them to enroll their children in the Lakeland Chorale. Let's continue the tradition of arts in our community.
