Anna C. Regier, 87, Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, passed away at 5 p.m. May 6, 2014, at Grace Village Health Care. She was born May 17, 1926, in Meade, Kan., to Peter J. and Elizabeth Classen Rempel. On Nov. 2, 1945, she married Edward W. Regier, who preceded her in death Sept. 28, 1979. She was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 22 years where she attended Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church and later Warsaw Wesleyan Church. She and her husband, Ed, were the former owners and operators of self service laundromats in Hutchinson, Kan., for 23 years, retiring in 1982. She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Beverly (and spouse Michael) Deck, Winona Lake, and Geneva Wynn, Warsaw; a son, Melvin (and spouse Cindy) Regier, Winona Lake; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor Tim Sprankle officiating. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. May 13, 2014, at Fairlawn Burial Park & Mausoleum, Hutchinson, Kan.
