FORT WAYNE — Anita Lynn Myers Garman-Gaby, 48, Elkhart, passed Thursday, April 27, 2017. Formerly of Syracuse, she was a 1987 graduate of Wawasee High School. She had worked at Four Winds International Corp. Anita lived life to the fullest. She loved boating and going to the beach. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, obsessed with cooking shows, and a huge Aerosmith and Nickelback fan. She is survived by her children, Amanda (Lamar Pittman) Garman and Cody Garman; grandsons, Amari and Kaiden; mother, Pamela Myers; siblings: Barb (Frank) Parker, Cindy (Jake) Wilcken and Royce (Becky) Myers; husband, Jon; and maternal grandmother, Iris (Elmer) Chamberlin-Woodcox. She was preceded in death by her father, James Thornburgh; stepfather, Royce Myers; maternal grandfather, Frank Chamberlin; and paternal grandparents, Clyde and Charlene Thornburgh. Covington Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, is handling the services.
