The Kosciusko County Community Foundation announced Angie Danko as communications director.
With over 25 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations and special events, Danko brings an extensive history of proven success and knowledge to the Community Foundation, according to a news release.
“I am truly honored to be in this role as we continue bringing donor charitable dreams to life,” Danko said. “The Community Foundation does so much good for our communities. I’m thankful for this opportunity and looking forward to the new milestones we will reach together.”
A graduate of Purdue University, Danko resides in Warsaw with her family. In addition to her role at the Community Foundation, she enjoys working on her marketing business and serving on various nonprofit boards in the community.
“Angie’s communication and publicity skills, as well as her strong relational skills and creativity, are helping the Community Foundation serve donors and grantees alike. She is a tremendous asset to our team,” said Stephanie Overbey, CEO of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
Kosciusko County Community Foundation Inc. is a public charity whose mission is to bring caring people and charitable endeavors together to inspire generosity and strengthen communities, the release states. The Community Foundation grants about $3 million annually in the areas of education, health, arts and culture, recreation, civic projects, environment and human services. Gifts made to the Community Foundation are tax-deductible.
