Angeline S. Putz, 87, of Warsaw, died at 4:14 a.m. Oct. 11, 2008, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was born April 8, 1921, in Chicago, Ill., to Xzavier and Rose Lazar Widelski. On June 30, 1943, in Michigan City, she married Harold J. Putz, who died June 7, 2002.

Moving to Warsaw from Michigan City five years ago, she was a homemaker and assisted Eagle Baker, which was owned by her parents. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, and Rosary Society of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, Michigan City.

Surviving are a son, Dan Putz, Fairfield, Ohio; two daughters, Paula (and spouse Larry) Sydow, Columbia City, and Pamela Putz; two grandchildren, Debra (and spouse Bill) Weinel, Loveland, Ohio, and Dan (and spouse Leslie) Putz, Cincinnati, Ohio; and two great-grandchildren, William Weinel, Loveland, and Jon Weinel, at home. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed and Henry Widelski, and three sisters, Clara Kroll, Dolores Pier and Sister Mary Monica.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. (CST) Wednesday at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, Michigan City, with Father Selvaraj Selladeurai of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church.
