The Anchorage Road reconstruction project will move to the next phase of work beginning Friday, Sept. 11.
Two segments will close during this next phase of construction, according to information provided by the city of Warsaw. Constructing these phases simultaneously will shorten the project length by approximately one month.
County Road 200 North will close from U.S. 30 to Biomet Drive. Anchorage Road will close from Ind. 15 to the railroad crossing.
Unless visiting a business or residence within the closure areas, all motorists should use detours.
On Friday, Sept. 11, Anchorage Road from U.S. 30 to the railroad crossing will re-open to traffic, allowing access to most businesses and residences from the east (U.S. 30).
The Anchorage Road reconstruction project is rebuilding the utility and road infrastructure in the area and adding sidewalks to improve safety in the area, according to the city.
