Editor, Times-Union: Looks like Warsaw was awash with dignitaries recently at the St. Regis Club. An interesting group named Americans for Prosperity sponsored the gathering. The article really doesn’t tell you much unless you dig a little deeper. Americans for Prosperity is another one of those interesting names. It seems at least part of the money for the funding comes from the Koch Brothers, David and Charles.
Their father gained fame and fortune serving the interests of Joseph Stalin during his reign up until 1953. Koch Senior helped Stalin developed his communist oil program. As I recall, Joseph Stalin was guilty of the extermination of tens of millions of Russians and Ukrainians etc.
The talk was titled Indiana On Track, but based upon the sinister history of the Koch Brothers and their fellow travelers here in Indiana I question what being on track means.
The Koch Brothers were famous for defrauding Southwest independent oil producers and American Indians out of tens of millions in oil profits. At least one brother was convicted but paid a large fine and that was it.
The Koch Brothers also put money into the John Birch Society early on and now they've got their fingers into the Tea Party movement. Interesting conglomeration of billionaires and regular people. There have been many books written about the Koch Brothers nefarious business ventures. Sounds a little bit like the protagonists in the first black-and-white Manchurian candidate film.
