Warsaw’s American Table restaurant finished second in the regional Breakfast Wars competition. Porter County’s Northside Diner was the winner of the contest sponsored by the Northern Indiana Tourism Development Commission.
Thousands of votes were cast between the county and regional competitions.
“This has been one of the most competitive Food Wars yet,” said Robby Bearss, Marketing Manager, Northern Indiana Tourism Development Commission. “Breakfast Wars showcased the great locally owned restaurants throughout the region.”
Jill Boggs, executive director of the Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau, said “we are thrilled American Table made such a showing representing Kosciusko County in the 2018 Breakfast Wars’ regional competition. The number of supporting votes is a true testament to their reputation as each vote was unique. Thus, telling their exceptional story as a major foodie attraction in the region.”
