Alton BuckAlton Buck, 86, died Oct. 6, 2022, at Grace Village Health Care in Winona Lake.
He was born to Robert and Amy Buck on April 23, 1936, near the town of Hale in rural northern Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Helen Jarman on Aug. 26, 1961, in Levering, Mich.
A memorial service for Alton Buck will be held Saturday, Oct. 15 at First Baptist Church, 206 S. Oak St., Mentone, at 11 a.m. with visitation with the family from 9 to 11 a.m. Alton willed his body to medical research at the Indiana University School of Medicine. As he lived his life with love, service and gratefulness, his last earthly contribution was to help others.
