BUFFALO, MO. - Alma Lucile Frantz, 101, died June 15, 2008, in Colonial Springs Healthcare, Buffalo, Mo.

She was born Jan. 3, 1907, in Topeka, to Lorin and Mable Franks. On Sept. 28, 1930, she married Floyd Frantz, who preceded her in death.

She taught Sunday School at the EUB Church, Claypool. She raised her family in Warsaw until 1946 when they moved to Arizona. In 1989, she moved to Buffalo, Mo., to be near her family. She was a member of the Air Stream Club, and was a member of New Hope Bapitst Church and Bible Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Alton (and spouse Juanita) Frantz, Warsaw, and Vernon (and spouse Bernice) Frantz, Buffalo, Mo., nine grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Private services were held at Cantlon Otterness Funeral Home, Buffalo, Mo.
