Allen Lee Tusing, 81, of Florissant, Mo., and formerly of Milford, died June 16, 2026, in Florissant, Mo.
He was born in Warsaw on July 16, 1944, to Jacob Jr. and Alice Grubb Tusing, of Milford. Allen was married in Warsaw on Aug. 27, 1967, to Karen Kay Wood, who survives.
He proudly served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran serving in Headquarters Company of the 19th Engineer Battalion. While in the service he was named Battalion Soldier of the month twice and was the recipient of two commander's commendations.
Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 25 at Redpath-Fruth-Byers Funeral Home, Warsaw. Allen’s life will be celebrated with a service at 1 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Brian Smith. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military rites conducted by members of the American Legion Post #49 and V.F.W. 1126, both of Warsaw, and active duty members of the Army Honor Guard.
