Alice V. Donovan, 91, of Goshen, and formerly of Warsaw, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Aug. 31, 2012, in Greencroft Goshen.
She was born Feb. 26, 1921, in Warsaw, to William and Viola Shafer Rowe. On Sept. 7, 1946, she married Joseph P. Donovan, who preceded her in death. They enjoyed 54 years together.
A lifetime resident of Warsaw, she was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Warsaw and retired from L.M. Berry after 35 years.
Surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and a sister-in-law. She also was preceded in death by siblings: Ethel Insley, Mary Weaver, Helen Stackhouse, David Rowe, Vivian Sharp and Sarah “Sue” Lange and two infant brothers.
A private family service will be Sept. 30 at New Paris First Brethren Church. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
