Shawna Koontz, HR operations and benefits manager, is pleased to announce the promotion of Ali Moren to assistant vice president, human resources business partner at Interra Credit Union.
In her expanded role, Moren will continue supporting organizational growth by partnering with leaders and employees to create a successful workplace, the release from Interra states.
Moren joined Interra in 2021 and has played a role in advancing several human resources initiatives. Among her contributions, she helped design and implement the bilingual pay program and led the rollout of HR help, a centralized system to improve coordination with employee HR needs.
“Our HR team is the strongest team I’ve worked with,” Moren said. “I’m thankful to be learning every day and to be part of a group that values creativity, forward thinking, and people first.”
Before returning to Interra in 2024, Moren built her human resources career starting in 2013 in California, where she worked at Navien, a tankless water heater company. She later worked in Los Angeles before relocating to Indiana and serving as an HR representative for Nisco in Bremen. After additional experience, Moren returned to Interra.
Moren holds a degree in hospitality management from Purdue University.
Outside of work, Moren enjoys buying and selling trading cards and operates an eBay store. On weekends, she can often be found at local card shops and trading card shows.
