Alcohol Board Continues Hearing On Transfer Of License Ownership Request

Kosciusko Alcohol and Tobacco Commission members met Thursday, with one application for transfer of ownership of a beer, wine and liquor license tabled and another withdrawn.
No one appeared for Liora & Bandit LLC, doing business as Hunter’s BBQ Restaurant and Catering, 204 E. State St., Etna Green. No orange signs were posted at the business and the beer, wine and liquor license application for a restaurant was continued to next month.
The beer, wine and liquor license change of ownership application for Stonehenge Golf Club, Winona Lake, was withdrawn.
The following licenses were renewed with no violations noted:
• American Legion Post 258, First and Catholic streets, Pierceton, beer, wine and liquor license for a fraternal club.
• F. C. Horse Inc., doing business as Leesburg Liquors, 406 S. Main St., Leesburg, beer, wine and liquor license for a package store.
• M. L. O. Restaurant, doing business as Ye Olde Pub, 207 W. South St., North Webster, beer, wine and liquor license for a restaurant.
• Mi Cholulita Tex Mex Cuisine and Cantina LLC, doing business as Mi Cholulita Mexican Grill and Bar, 2604 Sheldon Drive, Warsaw, beer, wine and liquor license for a restaurant.
• Oakwood Resort LLC, doing business as Oakwood Resort-Hilltop Conference Center, 1111 Conklin Hills Drive, Syracuse, beer, wine and liquor license for a catering hall.
• Speedway LLC, 823 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, beer and wine dealer license for a grocery store.
• Village Pantry LLC, doing business as Village Pantry, 400 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, beer and wine dealer license for a grocery store.
• Walmart Stores East LP, doing business as Walmart 1304, 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw, beer, wine and liquor license for a drug store.
Board members are Elim Smith, Alan Alderfer, Dan Woods and state excise officer April Tackett.
