FORT?WAYNE – Albert "George" Day III, 63, passed away Aug. 29, 2016. He was born Feb. 1, 1953, in Louisville, Ky. He was married to Kathryn S. Day, who survives. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, enjoyed cooking, and brewing homemade beer. He also owned his own pizza business, Georgie's Pizza, Ossian, for a number of years, and was a music lover of all sorts, but mostly rock and roll. Also surviving are his mother, Elaine Korth Loser, Leesburg; a stepfather, James Loser, Leesburg; a son, Jason R. Day, Fort Wayne; three daughters: Mona McGuire, Tennessee; Adriane and Stephanie Day, both of Monroeville; six grandchildren; a sister, Allison (and spouse Kevin) Robie, Leesburg; a stepsister, Renie Loser, Warsaw; and his dog, Pumpkin. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert George Day Jr. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Jude Catholic Church with Fr. Jake Runyon officiating. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery , Fort Wayne. Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at D.O.
