Airport Decision

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

Looks like our county commissioners are again working overtime in making bad decisions, now they want to close a road that is used by a large group of people.

The sad part is, they have already made the decision, and the people who use that road will pay the price once again. The meeting that is planned on Dec. 13 is just a formality.

The only way to stop this is to have a check and balance system in our county, we need to have a real two-party system. The loose cannons that are making the decisions that we have to live with have nothing to fear. They do what they want when they want. We pay the price and they get re-elected.

How much do we have to take? They prove it everyday that they don't care what you think. Remember Jerry Clase, the $5 million given to Porter County and now the airport closing the road? We can stop this, lets go to the meeting and let them know that one will be leaving on the next election.
