ROCHESTER – Agatha Jane Marsh, 96, formerly of 936 Fortna Drive, Rochester, died at 8:30 p.m. July 18, 2011, in Woodlawn Hospital.
She was born Oct. 10, 1914, in Mishawaka, to Charles and Elgie Ipes Moon.
She was a homemaker and co-owner and operator of Marsh Blueberry Farm. After moving to town, she volunteered at the Community Resource Center. She had attended Whippoorwill Community Church and New Life Church, both in Rochester.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen Marsh (and spouse Allen Andersen), Elkhart; a sister, Thelma Frettinger, Rochester; three brothers: Charles Moon, Mishawaka; Bill (and spouse Marilyn) Moon, Rochester; and Donald (and spouse Emma) Moon, Bradenton, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons and three sisters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with Pastor Bill Chappel officiating. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery, Rochester.
Calling is from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
