Advocate Financial Helps People With Insurance & Retirement Planning

Posted

Many people haven't carefully planned out their retirement, said Ben Becker.
His business, Advocate Financial Life & Health Brokerage, aims to fix that.
The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon-cutting for Advocate Financial on Thursday.
Ben Becker founded the business in 2009 alongside his father, John Becker, in Fort Wayne, where Advocate Financial is headquartered.
They opened their satellite office at 523 S. Buffalo St., Suite 9, Warsaw, three months ago.
Ben noted Advocate Financial has "over a 1,000 clients in the Warsaw area."
The company deals with health and life insurance, retirement planning and Social Security.
"We help people have safe, secure retirements (and) better insurance with the benefits they need," said Ben. "The stories are what keep us going, with the people that are on the wrong insurance plan that can't make their grocery bills because they don't have the benefits they need or they're overpaying for this insurance or they're terrified of what's going on in the stock market and they don't know there is a safe, secure option, so we're so blessed that we can wake up every day and have the best job in the world helping people."
He stated Advocate Financial is "in over 50 states and (has) over 1,000 advisors."
"The goal is by 2040 to help a million lives with better insurance and retirement planning," said Ben.
He noted "on average we're able to help people get $900 more a month on their Social Security, so that's very unique, that a lot of places just don't do."
"We're also a family, Christian company that is northeast Indiana, through and through, (with) Midwest values," said Ben.
People may set up an appointment with Advocate by calling the office at 800-943-2386. Employees can meet with clients at the Warsaw office or elsewhere.
