Editor, Times-Union: On Sept. 11, 2001, my wife and I were in Muncie at Ball Memorial Hospital awaiting the birth of our latest grandchild while at the same time watching the horrendous terrorist attacks on the twin towers, Pentagon and Shanksvill, Pa., on television.
And – on that day Olivia Kate Routh came into this world. What a glorious day that was to celebrate her birth and then at the same time painfully mourn the deaths of over 2,800 Americans who lost their lives from that cowardly attack. This is indeed a day we will never forget.
