Editor, Times-Union: The Barbee chain of lakes is flooded but I am unaware if DNR has officially closed them to motorized boating at this time. The piers are under water, and it would be a common courtesy for boaters to use an idle speed if they have to be on the lake at all and not pull tubers and run at a high rate of speed.
