3 Hurt In Wednesday CrashA three-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Warsaw left three people hurt.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to West U.S. 30, 1,500 feet west of North CR 500W, Warsaw, at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday for a call about a three-car crash.
Upon arrival, officers determined that Benjamin Reynolds, 43, was driving a gray 2015 Infinity Q60 east on U.S. 30, approaching the intersection of CR 500W, traveling about 60 to 65 mph. Reynolds told police he looked down for a second and when he looked up there was a purple Saturn in front of him. That vehicle was driven by Jeffrey Farmer, 41, who was following the third vehicle involved in the crash due to that vehicle having a flat tire. The vehicle with the flat was a blue 1995 Mercury, driven by Anne Railsback, 18.
According to the crash report, the vehicles driven by Railsback and Farmer were traveling at about 10 mph on U.S. 30, attempting to get to a location to fix the flat tire, when the collision occurred.
Reynolds suffered bruising to the head but refused to be taken to a hospital.
Farmer was flown by Samaritan helicopter to South Bend Memorial Hospital for bleeding on his head.
Railsback suffered minor injuries with complaint of pain to her entire body, but refused medical treatment.
All three vehicles were towed from the scene, and all three drivers submitted to a chemical test. Those results are pending.
