The 16th annual La Feria Guadalupana Festival is set for 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 225 Gilliam Drive, Warsaw.
Diana Diaz Barriga, one of the coordinators for the festival, said the La Feria Guadalupana is Our Lady of Guadalupe’s annual fundraising event that has helped their parish grow over the years. It has become a community event for them to be able to share their culture with the community. La Feria Guadalupana started as a smaller group getting together as a parish and grew from there.
Any money raised goes to improve the church’s building or other improvements the church needs. The church pays local businesses to do the improvements.
