The Lady ‘Cats started slowly and played catch up for the entirety of the contest, but were unable to get over the hump, falling 66-58 in what was the team’s final game of the season.

After eight minutes, it looked like those in attendance might witness a classic, but as the game wore on, the Trojans showcased their dominance, pulling away for a 72-39 win.

Starting to play some good basketball at just the right time, the Warsaw boys basketball team played their final game at the Tiger Den for the 2025-26 season on Friday night, honoring their four seniors before hosting rival Plymouth. The Tigers sent their leaders out on a high note, defeating the Pilgrims 66-40 to pick up their second straight win and move above .500.

The Tigers went ahead early, extended their lead late and fought off a late comeback attempt by the visitors to pick up a 54-47 win.
Northridge Raider junior forward Lily Scholl’s 42-points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in Saturday night’s 63-60 sectional championship win over the Warsaw Lady Tigers sent the orange and black home for the season much earlier than the Tigers’ athletes wanted.
Saturday night’s 3A sectional championship between Tippecanoe Valley and Fairfield was the epitome of a slugfest. Long, drawn out possessions, extremely physical play, and above all else, tight defense and low field goal percentages. The battle went down to the final possession, and after trailing for the entirety of the second half, a three pointer with six seconds left in the game earned the Lady Falcons a sectional championship with a 30-28 win.

The Warsaw Lady Tigers’ basketball is comprised of serious, full measure basketball players who took care of business in the IHSAA Class 4A sectional at Interra gym Friday night, eliminating a physical Elkhart Lions squad 65-40.
With the advantage of both a bye and home court, the Tippecanoe Valley girls basketball team began its 3A sectional journey in the semifinals at Rita Price-Simpson Court on Friday night. The team’s first test was a tough one, the always-formidable Columbia City Lady Eagles. On this night though, the Lady Vikings beat their opponent at their own game, shutting the visitors down in a 54-41 win to advance to Saturday’s championship game.
Still undefeated in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference entering the final month of the regular season, the Triton boys basketball team had the opportunity to begin February with another conference victory on Thursday night. The Trojans made the most of it, trouncing visiting Argos 67-23 at the Trojan Trench.
