Dewayne C. Schuh, 59, died Dec. 15, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home of Plymouth. He had been fighting lung cancer for quite a long time.

Louise M. Plummer, 92, Warsaw, died June 24, 2016, in Assisted Living at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.

AKRON – Patty “Pat” Hostetler, 69, of Macy, died at 4:41 p.m. Dec. 23, 2012, in Seton Specialty Hospital, Indianapolis, where she had been a patient since October following a lengthy illness.

Downing, 74, formerly of Silver Lake, died June 4, 2007, in his residence, surrounded by his loving wife, Vickie Jones Downing; two daughters, Mrs. Clint (Kristi Jo) Dials, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Rick (Donna Lynn) Zartman, Cocoa, Fla; his father- and mother-in-law, Frank and Betty Jones, Warsaw; dear friends, Rudy and Mary Jo Matland, Cape Coral, Fla.; and his furry four-legged girlfriend Sophia.

NORTH MANCHESTER – Cleo L. Maple, 100, of North Manchester, died at 4:40 a.m. July 9, 2011, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester. She was born Aug. 26, 1910, in Wabash County, to Carver and Etta C. Thomas Smith. On Aug. 17, 1929, she married Glenn W. Maple, who died Jan. 14, 1992.
