Mary L. Pozorski, 59, Warsaw, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Oct. 16, 2016, at her home.  She was born Nov. 7, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wis., to LeRoy M. and Alice Y. Katczka Beilke.  She was married in 1989 to Donald Market, who preceded her in 2013. On April 3, 2016, in Wabash, she married Paul B. Pozorski, who survives.  She graduated from North High School, Evansville, and attended the University of Evansville. She was employed with AT&T in Indianapolis and Evansville for 35 years. 

June W. Fisher, 98, North Manchester, formerly of Warsaw, died at 2:25 a.m. Oct. 12, 2016, at Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester. She was born June 10, 1918, in Warsaw, to Herman and Gertrude Dick Dahms. On May 27, 1938, she married Floyd Eugene Fisher, who died June 9, 2014.

Charles Lawrence Sekafetz, 79, Indianapolis, died suddenly Sept. 12, 2016, in Indianapolis. He was born Dec. 3, 1937, in Chicago, to Charles and Lillian Cunat Sekafetz.

Allan “Big Al” Andreas Tjernagel, Warsaw, was welcomed into the arms of his heavenly Father at 12:14 p.m. Oct. 17, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw at the age of 76 – a day before his 77th birthday.  

M. Max Gross, 91, Warsaw, passed away at 6:50 a.m. Oct. 18, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. He was born June 20, 1925, in Warsaw, to Earl and Katie Pearl Rapp Gross. On June 12, 1954, in Franklin, he married Georgia Marie Mishler, who passed away Nov. 15, 2011.

Lisa Ann Daugherty, 53, Westfield, passed away Oct. 13, 2016, as the result of an automobile accident in Albuquerque, N.M., while returning from San Diego, Calif.

 Mary E. Watkins, 93, Etna Green, died at 8:48 a.m. Oct. 16, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.  She was born Jan. 25, 1923, in Bremen, to Franklin and Eva Kring Slabaugh. On Sept. 15, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, she married Dale E. Watkins, who preceded her in death Sept. 30, 2012.

Allan Andreas Tjernagel, 76, Warsaw, died at 12:14 p.m. Oct. 17, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. Arrangements are pending with Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.

Robert A. Haupert Sr.., 72, North Manchester, died at 7:01 a.m. Oct. 13, 2016, in his residence. He was born Feb. 14, 1944, in Wabash, to Harland and Helen Barns Haupert. In January 1965, he married Rita Kay Brauneller, who died Dec. 31, 1983. On March 22, 1986, he married Lisa M. James, who survives.

LaMar F. Johnson, 82, formerly of Rochester, died at 1:20 p.m. Oct. 14, 2016, at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born May 5, 1934, in Fulton County, to Amos M. and Ethel May Swihart Johnson. On Aug. 22, 1952, in Rochester’s Church of the God parsonage, he married Ann Metzler, who survives.

Vicki Sue Dills, 57, Akron, died at 7:18 p.m. Oct. 14, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Aug. 24, 1959, in Richmond, to Larry and Edith Meyers Kulhman. In 1988 she married Larry R. Dills, who survives in Akron.

Jenny L. Layne, 58, Akron, died Oct. 14, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Jan. 19, 1958, at Woodlawn Hospital, to Ralph and Betty Smith Nicodemus.

ROCHESTER – Cinda Lou Kelley, 52, Rochester, was surrounded by her loving family when she departed this life at 4:15 p.m. Oct. 14, 2016, at her home. She was born May 11, 1964, in Fulton,  to Merle and Vivian Olinger Kelley.

 Herman S. Beachler, 88, North Manchester, died at 8:50 a.m. Oct. 13, 2016, in his residence. He was born March 23, 1928, in Modesto, Calif., to Vannie and Neosha Nichols Beachler. On Oct. 17, 1948, he married Eileen Wrightsman.

Carol Anne Werstler, 73, formerly of Leesburg, passed away at 9:40 a.m. Oct. 12, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.  She was born Dec. 21, 1942, in Peru, to Waldo and Ruth Fields Bostel. On Dec. 6, 1980, she was married to Daniel Rex Werstler, who passed away unexpectedly July 27, 2015. 

– Melynda “Mindy” Leisure, 29, Wabash, died at 5:30 a.m. Oct. 11, 2016, in her residence. She was born Aug. 9, 1987, in Wabash, to Larry M. and Laura A. Eads Leisure, who survive in North Manchester.
