MENTONE — Opal R. Epler, 92, formerly of Palestine, died at 1:35 a.m. Nov. 30, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born Oct. 26, 1924, in Akron, to Gordon and Edith Vandermark Young. On April 5, 1947, in New Castle, she married Glen S. Epler, who died Nov. 24, 1993. A graveside services is planned at Palestine Cemetery. NAPPANEE — Mary Ann Miller Hochstetler, 90, Nappanee, died at 1:05 a.m. Dec. 1, 2016, at her daughter’s residence. She was born June 3, 1926, in Arthur, Ill., to Stephen and Emma Gingerich Miller. On Oct. 20, 1949, she married Jonas Hochstetler, who died Jan. 12, 1997. Family and friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday at the family residence, 26732 CR 52, where funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Bishop Lonnie Kauffman and the Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate. Burial will be in West Union Center Amish Cemetery. Wallace “Wally” M. Correll,

Wallace “Wally” M. Correll, 82, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Nov. 22, 2016, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center. He was born June 1, 1934, to Waldon “Bud” and Loa Pyle Correll in Warsaw. In 1960 he was married to Frances E. Smith. Together, the two would share nearly 55 years before her passing on July 2, 2014.

Lucille E. Kuntz Neidlinger

Lucille E. Kuntz Neidlinger, 94, resident of Grace Village, Winona Lake, passed away at 1:44 a.m. Nov. 29, 2016, in Grace Village with her family at her side. She was born June 17, 1922, to Howard and Nina Anglin Brock, in Inwood. She married Philip Kuntz Jr. on Jan. 1, 1942; he died Aug. 21, 1978. Later she married Russell Neidlinger and they moved to Plymouth, Bremen and later to Grace Village at Winona Lake. He passed away in 2005.

Sarah “Sally” A. Smith,

Sarah “Sally” A. Smith, 85, Leesburg, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Nov. 24, 2016, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. She attended Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, graduating in 1949. She then attended Franklin College and received her bachelor’s degree in 1953. While there she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Diane Henson,

Diane Henson, 38, Milford, passed away Nov. 28, 2016, at her home. She was born June 8, 1978, in Fort Wayne, to Ronald Garber and Debbie Henson. She was a lifelong area resident. She was the glue for many family members and always created a safe haven for anyone in need. To say the very least, she was a very humble and kind person.

NAPPANEE – Rosa M. Miller 88, Nappanee, died unexpectedly at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 29, 2016, at Elkhart General Hospital, where she had been a patient since Monday. She was born Nov. 1, 1928, in Nappanee, to Manas D. and Fannie C. Hochstetler Miller. Family and friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday and all day Thursday at the Earl Schwartz residence, 30538 CR 56. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Schwartz residence. NAPPANEE – Marjorie Eleanor Huffer Peltier Miller, 96, Nappanee, died at 11:20 a.m. Nov. 26, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, after a brief illness. She was born Aug. 8, 1920, in Kosciusko County, to Charles W. and Dessie M. Gall Huffer. Her first marriage was to Gordon “Dutch” Peltier on Oct. 5, 1940. They were divorced and he preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Robert B. Miller on Feb. 1, 1970, in Nappanee. He preceded her in death Feb. 18, 1999.

Kathleen “Katy” May Goshert, 89, Warsaw, passed away Nov. 26, 2016, in St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Nov. 2, 1927, in Rochester, to Jesse H. and Lulu Ione Borden Romig. On Aug. 5, 1950, in Warsaw, she married Richard “Dick” R. Goshert; they were married 58 years until his passing Jan. 30, 2009.
