Bookings
The following people were arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 6:10 a.m. Wednesday - Andrew J. Wilson, 46, of 202 W. Van Buren St., Leesburg, arrested for domestic battery - simple assault. Bond: $1,000.
• 9 a.m. Thursday - James Dale Hughes, 50, of 209 Turkey Creek Drive, Milford, arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Bond: $5,250.
• 10:30 a.m. Thursday - Angela Darlene Brickey, 34, of 9862 E. Arthur Trail, Cromwell, arrested for domestic battery with bodily injury to a pregnant woman. Bond: $2,000.

Incidents
• 7:28 a.m. Wednesday - Attempted unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Beechnut Court, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 2:55 p.m. Wednesday - A backpack was reported found in the 1100 block of Heron Boulevard, Warsaw. WPD.
• 5:58 p.m. Wednesday - Criminal trespass was reported in the 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. WPD.
• 11:14 p.m. Wednesday - A warrant was served in the 3300 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. WPD.
• 12:05 a.m. Thursday - A traffic stop was initiated for a person operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated in the 2400 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.

Nelson’s Big Night Propels Warsaw To NLC Championship
Warsaw baseball’s Monday night home game against Concord was a momentous one for a number of reasons. First, it was Senior Night, and four seniors were honored before the game for their careers at Warsaw. Next, a win over the Minutemen would clinch the Northern Lakes Conference title outright for the Tigers. On a night dedicated to the seniors, it was freshman Grady Nelson’s big night that helped Warsaw win 7-3 for the championship.
