Church Of The Brethren
To Hold Supper Saturday

NORTH WEBSTER – North Webster Church of the Brethren, 7281 E. CR 600N, North Webster, will hold a swiss steak supper Saturday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $15.
People can eat in or carry out.
Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and pie will be available.

Church Of The Good Shepherd
To Hold Worship

WINONA LAKE – Church of The Good Shepherd, 708 College Ave., Winona Lake, will hold Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. and church services at 10:30 a.m.
Pastor Sass’ sermon title is "The Petitions that Pertain to God.”
On Sunday, there will be a pot luck lunch right after church. Sign up and say what you will be bringing to share.
On May 4 at 8:30 a.m., there will be a breakfast in the Grace Village dining room. Sign up at the table.
An anniversary cookbook will be prepared for the 100th year anniversary of the church. Submit your recipe to the church office by the end of May. Read the guidelines for the recipe you submit.

Claypool UMC To Hold
New Bible Study Saturday

CLAYPOOL – A new Bible study is starting at Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, this Saturday at 9 a.m.
On Sunday, join the church for adult and children's Sunday school starting at 9:30 a.m. then fellowship at 10:10 a.m. followed with worship at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Dana Yoder's sermon is titled "Love in Action," based on 1 John 3:16-24. Worship can also be watched on Facebook at Claypool UMC, Indiana.
Yoder invites all to join her Tuesdays and Wednesdays on Facebook at 9:30 a.m. for "Moments of Devotion."
A devotion group meets on Wednesdays at 4:15 p.m. They welcome newcomers.

Burket Bible To Hold Worship
BURKET – Burket Bible Church, 102 Market St., Burket, welcomes everyone to its services. Sunday school starts at 9 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m. The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is titled "Inexpressible and Glorious Joy" from 1 Peter 1:3-9. Gary Kuhn will provide music.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Java Jacks in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. Study starts at 9 a.m.

Church To Hold Events

AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Java Jacks in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
On Sunday, join Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, for worship at 9 a.m. or 10:31 a.m. with refreshments served from 10 to 10:30 a.m. First service is Communion. A youth spaghetti lunch fundraiser is after church. Youth group will meet at the church at 8 a.m. to prepare the meal.

Gearhart To Present Message
MENTONE – Mentone United Methodist Church, 116 E. Main St., Mentone, invites the community to join them on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. for worship service. Pastor Emily Gearhart will present the message “We Abide in Christ.”
The church offers an early bird adult Sunday school class at 8:45 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., along with worship service, the church offers Sunday Bible school exploring God’s Amazing Animals for children ages 5 through fifth grade and Wee Kids Worship for ages newborn to 4 years old. Sunday Bible school kids stay in the sanctuary on the first Sunday of each month for Communion.
Feast & Fellowship/Youth is held on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Food, fellowship and fun are available for all ages.
Mark your calendars and join the church on May 8. Brent Vernon and his friend, Sam, will be back. He is a Christian ventriloquist, singer/songwriter and children’s book author/illustrator. A free-will donation supper is at 6 p.m. RSVP for supper at 574-353-7898. The concert begins at 7 p.m., free to attend and a love offering is welcome. No RSVP is needed for the concert.
On June 17-20, from 6 to 8 p.m., is vacation Bible school, Camp Firelight, for ages 3 (potty trained) through fifth grade.
