Corpus Christie Procession To

Start At Sacred?Heart Sunday

A Corpus Christi procession will be held  Sunday with an adoration at Sacred Heart, 125 N. Harrison St., Warsaw, from 1:30 to 1:55 p.m.

The Corpus Christi procession begins at 2 p.m. Those participating will process 0.8 miles from Sacred Heart to McKinley Park where they will stop for prayer, song and blessing. The procession will then process 0.9 miles to Lucerne Park for benediction.

Following, all are invited to join in a family picnic including fun and games. Bring your own food or purchase from food vendors on site.

If you can’t process, join at Lucerne Park.

New Harvest To Hold VBS

Come explore the caves of New Harvest Nazarene at CaveQuest Vacation Bible School at 1654 Fisher Ave., Warsaw.

It will be Monday through June 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. for kindergarten through fifth grade.

Keepers Of The Kingdom To Hold VBS

TIPPECANOE – Keepers Of The Kingdom Vacation Bible School will be held at Riverview Community Church, 3780 Ind. 110, Tippecanoe, Monday through June 16 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. It is for ages 4 to 12.



St. Anne's To Have Charity Sale

St. Anne's Church, 424 W. Market St., Warsaw, is holding its annual sale for charity at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds Home & Family Arts Building. Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today  and Friday and 8 to noon on Saturday.

This is the church’s only fundraiser of the year and all proceeds go to local charities like the Animal Welfare League, Salvation Army, CASA, Habitat for Humanity and Fellowship Missions. Each month of the year the church features a different charity.

The church’s worship hours are 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. on Sundays. They broadcast the 10:15 a.m. service on Facebook live (St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Warsaw IN).



Beaver Dam Community Church To Have Lakeside Service

AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Java Jacks in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.

On Sunday, a lakeside service for Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, will be at the Beaver Dam Lake Boat Launch at 8 a.m. If it's raining it will be canceled by 7:30 a.m.  A combined worship will be at the church at 9:30 a.m. with refreshments served from 9-9:30 a.m. The sermon is by Pastor Butch Troke. It is Graduation Sunday.  The church will recognize graduates and celebrate with them after church with refreshments. Youth group will be at BDCC from 5-6:30 p.m.

Monday to June 16 is Vacation Bible School from 8:45 to 11:30 a.m. daily

June 15 to June18 is the youth retreat at Yellow Creek Lake.



Burket Bible To Hold Worship

BURKET – Burket Bible Church, 102 Market St., Burket, welcomes everyone to its services. Sunday school starts at 9 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m.  The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is titled "Why Do You Want Him" from 1st Corinthians 12:1-11.  

There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Java Jacks in Mentone.  Breakfast is at 8 a.m. The study starts at 9 a.m.



Claypool UMC To Hold Sunday School

CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, will hold Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and church services 10:30 a.m.

The devotion group meets every Wednesday 4:45 p.m.

The Gospel Hill pantry is open on June 19. Bring paper products.

The Claypool Sesquicentennial Festival is June 16 and 17.



Moriarty To Present Message

MENTONE – Mentone United Methodist Church, 116 E. Main St., Mentone, invites the community to join them on Sunday for its worship service beginning at 10:15 a.m. Stephen Moriarty will present the message “Learning To Live Inside Out.”

Stellar - Shine Jesus’ Light Vacation Bible School 2023 will be June 19-22 from 6 to 8 p.m. for ages 3 (potty-trained) through fifth grade (grade completed). Register now at vbspro.events/p/mumcvbs2023.

The church offers an early bird adult Sunday school class at 8:45 a.m. They are studying the men and women of the Bible. At 10:15 a.m., along with worship service, the church offers Sunday Bible school for children ages 5 through fifth grade and Wee Kids Worship for ages newborn to 4 years old.
