Fellowship Church To
Hold Easter Services

Fellowship Church, 1838 E. Kosciusko Drive, Warsaw, will hold a Good Friday Communion service at 6 p.m.
Easter breakfast will b at 8:45 a.m. Sunday. Easter morning worship will be at 10 a.m.

Claypool To Finish Off
Holy Week Services

CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, is getting ready to wrap up Holy Week. Today, the church will be celebrating with an open house for two homes built by Habitat in Claypool on Graceland Avenue at 5:15 p.m.
Maundy Thursday service is at 7 p.m. and will be hosted by Warsaw First United Method Church. It is open to all, it is a collaborative effort of Pastors of Warsaw First UMC, Celebration UMC, Atwood Aldersgate UMC, ClunetteUMC, Trinity UMC and Claypool UMC.
The Good Friday service will take place at Claypool UMC's sanctuary on Friday at 7 p.m. This will be a collaborative service with area United Methodist churches participating.
On Easter morning, there is a community sunrise service in Lucerne Park at 7 a.m. Breakfast is at 9 a.m. served in Claypool's UMC Fellowship Hall followed by worship in the sanctuary at 10 a.m. Come on in to hear Pastor Dana Yoder’s sermon "The Biggest Loser." The church will be singing praises and praying. There is nursery care and Kids church during the sermon.
Yoder can start your Tuesdays and Wednesdays off with her "Moments of Devotion” at 9:30 a.m. on Facebook (Claypool UMC, Indiana)
The United Methodist Women will meet on Tuesday at 1 p.m. The devotion group meets on Wednesday from 4:15 to 5 p.m.

Burket To Hold Services
BURKET – Burket Bible Church welcomes everyone to its services.
On Good Friday, service begins at 7 p.m. The message by Pastor Mark Eastway is titled "The Ultimate Sacrifice" from Mark 15:21-32. The church will celebrate Holy Communion in remembrance of the Passover meal. There will be music by several members of the praise team.
On Easter Sunday morning, there is a breakfast in the Fellowship Hall at 9 a.m. with the worship service to follow at 10:15 a.m. The Easter message by Eastway is titled "Victory Over Sin and Death" from Mark 16:1-8.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Java Jacks in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. Study starts at 9 a.m.

Warsaw Trinity UMC To
Hold Events Week

Join the Warsaw Trinity United Methodist Church, 832 E Center St., Warsaw, family for any and all events. Contact the church office with questions.
Today at 7 at Warsaw First United Methodist Church, Trinity UMC will join area churches for a combined Maundy Thursday worship service. Join them at First UMC at 179 S. Indiana St., Warsaw.
ON Friday at 7 p.m. at Claypool UMC, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, they will share in a combined Good Friday service with area churches.
On Easter Sunday, there will be a 7 a.m. sunrise service at Lucerne Park (wear a coat and bring your warm beverage with you!)
At about 8 a.m., there is an Easter pitch-in breakfast after the sunrise service at the Trinity UMC Fellowship Hall. At 9 a.m., Sunday school will meet. At 10 a.m. is the Easter celebration worship. Service is also available via Facebook.
At about 11:15 a.m., the Easter egg hunt for the children will be immediately after worship service on the lawn.
On Monday at 1:30 p.m., the Yarn-A-Little crafting group will meet. Bring whatever work in progress you have that travels. The group is not limited to yarn alone. They have folks quilting, cross-stitching and a myriad of other things.

Easter Services

PIERCETON – Bethel Baptist Church, 1109 W. Market St., Pierceton, is inviting everyone to Easter services. On Sunday, the church starts the day off with an Easter breakfast at 9 a.m. They have a speaker for morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. Tom Meyer will be speaking on Isaiah 53 part 2. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy.

Church Of The Good Shepherd
To Hold Easter Services

WINONA LAKE – The Church of the Good Shepherd, 708 College Ave., Winona Lake, will be having Easter breakfast at 9 a.m. and church service at 10:30 a.m.
There will be no Maudy services today.
The choir will be bringing special music Sunday.
There will be no first Saturday breakfast at Grace Village for April.
Winsome Walkers meet every Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Gordon Recreation Center to walk.

Church To Hold Events

AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Java Jacks in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
Sunday is Easter Sunday. Join Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, for its sunrise service at 8 a.m. or worship at 9:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served between services.
On Monday, the trustees meeting is at 6 p.m.
On April 6, Ladies Day is at the Harrolds' range starting at 1 p.m.

Hold Holy Week Services

MENTONE – Mentone United Methodist Church, 116 E. Main St., Mentone, invites the community to join them for Holy Week Services.
The Good Friday service will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday.
On Easter Sunday, the church will have a sunrise service at 8 a.m. followed by a full breakfast provided at 8:30 a.m. Easter worship service will begin at 10:15 a.m. The church will have music and Pastor Emily Gearhart will present the message “Jesus Has Risen.”
The church offers an early bird adult Sunday school class at 8:45 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., along with worship service, the church offers Sunday Bible school exploring God’s Amazing Animals for children ages 5 through fifth grade and Wee Kids Worship for ages newborn to 4 years old. Sunday Bible school kids stay in the sanctuary on Easter Sunday.
Feast & Fellowship/Youth is held on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Food, fellowship and fun is available for all ages. There will be no Feast & Fellowship/Youth on Wednesday.

Nelson’s Big Night Propels Warsaw To NLC Championship
Warsaw baseball’s Monday night home game against Concord was a momentous one for a number of reasons. First, it was Senior Night, and four seniors were honored before the game for their careers at Warsaw.
