For several decades, St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 424 W. Market St., Warsaw, has been well-known for its annual sale (formerly tent sale) where it offers donated items for sale with all the proceeds going to local charities.
The sale is now held in the Home & Family Arts building at the fairgrounds. This year's dates are June 7-10. Hours Wednesday through Friday are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon. You can donate clean items in good condition to help the cause (clothing, kitchen items, decor, furniture, cars, boats, etc.). Drop items off June 4 in the afternoon or call the church office to arrange a pick up at 574-267-6266.
Come worship with the church on Sunday. This week the service is at 10 a.m. with the bishop's visitation. You can watch the service on Facebook Live as well at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Warsaw IN.
God’s Highway To Hold Breakfast
God's Highway To Heaven, 555 Webber St. Warsaw, will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
The menu will include sausage gravy, bologna gravy, biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, apples and drinks.
Adults age 10 and up are $8, children 9 to 3 years old are $3 and 2 and under are free.
This is a fundraiser to help an 11-year-old from the church with very needed dental work.
Claypool UMC To Have Services
CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church will hold Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and church at 10:30 a.m. Sunday
Devotions are at 4:45 p.m. every Wednesday.
Pastor Yoder’s sermon is titled Gift of Peace, scripture John 20:19 to 23.
Clean-up day for the church is June 3 at 10 a.m.
Burket Bible To Have Services
BURKET – Burket Bible Church, 102 Market St., Burket, welcomes everyone to its services. Sunday School starts at 9 a.m. and Worship is at 10:15 a.m. The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is titled “What Are You Afraid Of?" from Luke 11:5-13. There will be a special Memorial Day Remembrance and they will honor the veterans in attendance.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Java Jacks in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 am. Study starts at 9 a.m.
Beaver Dam Comm. Church To Hold Services
AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Java Jacks in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
On Sunday, a lakeside service for Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, will be at Beaver Dam Lake Boat Launch at 8 a.m. If it's raining, it will be canceled. Combined worship is at the church at 9:30 a.m. with refreshments served from 9-9:30 a.m. It is Birthday Sunday. The sermon is by Pastor Butch Troke. The youth meeting is after church until noon.
On Wednesday, youth group is at Akron from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Gearhart To Present Message
MENTONE – Mentone United Methodist Church, 116 E. Main St., Mentone, invites the public to join them Sunday for worship service at 10:15 a.m. where Pastor Emily Gearhart presents the message Week 2 of “Oh, The Role Prayer Plays!”
The church will have the Real Meal Deal at the Egg Festival June 3 in the tent in the center of downtown Mentone. It is $6 for a complete meal of pulled pork sandwich, chips, veggies, cookies and drink. It is from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or sold out. There will be a gospel sing in the tent at 4 p.m.
Stellar - Shine Jesus’ Light Vacation Bible School 2023 will be June 19-22 from 6 to 8 p.m. for ages 3 (potty-trained) through fifth grade (grade completed). Register now at vbspro.events/p/mumcvs2023.
The church offers an early bird adult Sunday school class at 8:45 a.m. The class is studying the men and women of the Bible. At 10:15 a.m., along with worship service, the church offers Sunday Bible School for children ages 5 through fifth grade and Wee Kids Worship for ages newborn to 4 years old.
