Boys Basketball
Tippecanoe Valley at Wheeler

Tippecanoe Valley boys basketball split its two games over the weekend, the most recent being a 80-29 thrashing of Wheeler on Saturday. The Vikings are now 4-3 this season.
Tippy Valley also played on Friday night, falling 55-51 to former conference rival Peru. No statistics were available for either game.
The Vikings are off until Friday night, when the team will play a huge home game against rival Rochester.
Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian vs. Manchester
Manchester dropped its first game of the season on Saturday, falling 72-42 to Blackhawk Christian at Grace College’s Champions of Character Classic. The Squires are now 6-1 this season.
Gavin Betten led the way once again with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Gavin Martin and Tyler McLain each scored 10 for Manchester.
The Squires also played on Friday night, earning a 70-55 win over Southwood in the team’s Three Rivers Conference opener. Betten had 18 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks in the win. Garrett Sites scored 12 on Friday night.
Manchester is on the road at Lewis Cass on Friday evening.

Lewis Cass at Whitko
Whitko began TRC play with an emphatic win on Friday night, defeating Lewis Cass 54-27 at home. The Wildcats are now 5-1 this season, 1-0 in the TRC.
Kyler Krull had a huge night for Whitko, scoring 27 points on 63% shooting. Sam Essegian had a double-double, finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Riley Harman added nine points.
The Wildcats are at home once again for Tuesday’s conference game against Maconaquah.
Triton at Winamac
Triton is still undefeated this season after picking up its second Hoosier North Athletic Conference win on Friday, defeating Winamac 41-34. The Trojans are now 6-0 this winter, 2-0 in the HNAC.
Tanner Witt-Hoyo led the charge for Triton with 16 points. Gage Riffle scored 12 points and led the Trojans in rebounding with six. Dante Workman added eight points.
Triton is back in action Wednesday night against Jimtown on the road.
Lakeland Christian at Bethany Christian
Lakeland Christian is still winless after falling 71-37 to Bethany Christian on Friday evening. The Cougars are now 0-7 this season.
Micah Martin had a nice night for LCA, pouring in 23 points in the loss. Aaron Gause scored five points while Josiah Rice scored four.
The Cougars are off until after the holiday, playing their next game against Clinton Christian on Dec. 29.
Girls Basketball
Warsaw at Wawasee

The Warsaw girls basketball kept their spot at the top of the conference with a 56-39 win at Wawasee Saturday night.
Warsaw led throughout, taking a 14-3 lead after one quarter and a 27-13 lead at halftime and never looking back.
Jocelyn Bricker, despite feeling under the weather, led the Lady Tigers with 18 points on 8-12 shooting from the field. Brooke Winchester added 17 points and 16 rebounds. Brooke Zartman scored 11 and Alexis Neely 10.
Ava Couture scored 10 points for the Lady Warriors with 10 points while Lucy Wilkinson added nine.
The Lady Tigers (8-4, 3-0 NLC) travel to Huntington North Wednesday, while Wawasee (10-3, 2-2 NLC) hosts Central Noble.
Whitko at Lewis Cass
Whitko dropped its first TRC game of the season on Saturday in a nail-biter, as the Lady ‘Cats fell 49-48 at Lewis Cass. Whitko is now 8-3 this season, 3-1 in the TRC.
Jayma Stonebreaker led the way for the Lady ‘Cats with 13 points. Kloe Krieg and Reese Stonebreaker each scored 10 points.
Whitko plays its next game on Thursday on the road at Prairie Heights.
Triton at Pioneer
Triton got back to .500 in conference play Saturday evening with a 41-20 win over Pioneer. The Lady Trojans are now 4-10 this winter, 2-2 in the HNAC.
Addyson Viers scored 16 points and added nine rebounds in the win. Sierra Hawley scored 10 points and grabbed seven boards. Jocelynn Faulkner scored eight.
Triton is at home on Tuesday for a game against Bremen.
Manchester at Southwood
Manchester picked up a nice win on Friday night, defeating Southwood 53-35 on the road. The Lady Squires are now 7-5 this season, 3-2 in the TRC.
Emma Walker scored eleven points to lead Manchester in scoring. Gracie Lauer and Hadley West each scored 10 in the game.
Manchester hosts Triton on Thursday.
