Rachel Waldridge and Kelly Marose were united in marriage July 7, 2018, in a surprise ceremony at their Fourth of July cookout at their Warsaw home.

Doug Lemon officiated the 7:30 p.m. ceremony.

Matrons of honor were Bethany Lechlitner, Warsaw, and Kirsten Lansaw, Columbia City. Bridesmaids were Tammy Hile, Warsaw, and Alex Ritter, the bride’s daughter, Warsaw.

Doug Reed, Leesburg, served as best man.

The bride is the daughter of Ed and Lynn Brown, Warsaw. She was homeschooled and has her nationally registered advanced EMT certification. She is a sales clerk at Service Liquors.

The groom is the son of Art and Jo Marose, Warsaw. He graduated from Wawasee High School and is owner of Marose Lawn Care.

The couple are planning a wedding trip to Hawaii in 2019.
