Monica Boyer

Editor, Times-Union:
It has been interesting reading the letters to the editor of the Times-Union regarding the Republican primary candidates for the District 22 seat. I do not know either of the candidates and have no particular connection to either.
Both candidates seem to be genuinely interested in serving the greater good, based on their philosophy and viewpoint. They both seem to be good, moral people.
I would like to comment on Monica Boyer's letter from April 22, 2014. In her letter, she wrote, “As for a lawmaker who represents me? I want a representative who listens.”
Ms Boyer, is it possible Ms Kubacki is listening to her constituents and the majority disagree with your viewpoint?

We're about to find out on Tuesday, May 6. I'm voting for Nisly ... but I'm just one vote. This is a very interesting race and we're going to see if the majority of voters would like to limit the size and reach of government.

John, Mrs. Kubacki tells us that she only listens to the experts. You need to do some research if you think she listens and represents the conservatives who are a majority in this conservative district. She votes for the federal take-over of our schools, against traditional marriage, against 2nd amendment rights, and for government intrusion in church outreach programs.

Hopefully more than likely. I know she has surveyed her constituents such as me and she has voted as I would want her to do. She has my support and my vote.

Do you think Kosc Co overwhelmingly favors common core? Gay marriage? Tuition benefits for illegals?

I'm new to town, but I wasn't aware it did.

John, I know you didn't ask me that question but I just could not help but say "I think it's quite possible" !
