Bob Martin

Editor, Times-Union:
Response to a letter to the editor regarding Bob Martin:
I know there was more to the letter than what was printed by the family about the Bob Martin funeral. I feel an injustice was done to the family and to Bob Martin. What I propose is that Bob Martin get a full military, grave-side ceremony with the family present and all incurred expenses be paid by Titus Funeral Home.
I would also like to see the mayor of Warsaw, Mr. Joe Thallemer, conduct a full investigation into this matter so that it doesn't happen again to anyone else in this community or any fallen soldier deserving special ceremonies. Mr. Martin served his country proudly in World War II and served his local community. He did not deserve to be treated the way he was at the end of his life.
I look forward to action on this matter.
