BENTON – In a sectional opener where the Wawasee offense wasn’t hitting on all cylinders, junior pitcher Amber Lemberg came up big in the circle for the Lady Warriors.

BENTON – On paper, it looks like the game went pretty much as expected.
The reality is Tippecanoe Valley played one of its better softball games of the season in the Class 3A Fairfield Sectional before everything fell apart.

Tigers Close Regular Season With 10-7 Win Over Blazers
ELKHART – Warsaw closed out its baseball regular season with a 10-7 win at Elkhart Central Monday night.
Henry Howard had a three-run homer for the Tigers. Zach Witt doubled twice in the game, with Liam Patton and Braxton Tennant adding two hits each.

Whitko Takes Two From Prairie Heights
SOUTH WHITLEY – Whitko earned a pair of 11-6 wins over visiting Prairie Heights Saturday.
In the first game Whitko trailed 5-2 heading to the bottom of the third. The Wildcats responded with four runs in their half of the third, two in the fourth and three more in the sixth for the win. Alex Robbins was the winning pitcher. Landen Goff had two hits and scored four times, and Tanner Gaff had a double among his two hits and scored three times.

Manchester’s Mattie McKee struck out 10 Warsaw Lady Tigers in a 5-1 softball win at the Tigers Athletic Complex Saturday.
Kennedy Fierstos had two hits for the visiting Lady Squires, with Ellie Milam and Katelyn Andritsch driving in two runs each.
