Nine Area Players Named To All-TRC Football Team
Nine players from the Times-Union coverage area were named to the All-Three Rivers Conference football team Wednesday afternoon.
Five Whitko Wildcats were named to the team: senior offensive tackle Garrett Cokl, junior quarterback Garrett Elder, senior defensive end Austin Hyde, senior linebacker Garrett Smiley and senior defensive back Brady Weeks.

Lady Wildcats Roll To 5-0 With Rout Of Peru In TRC Opener
Whitko got off to a fast start, leading 24-2 after the first quarter, and rolled to a 64-17 win at Peru in the Three Rivers Conference opener for both teams.
Aly Reiff outscored Peru by herself, hitting a trio of three-point shots en route to a 24-point performance. Brianna Cumberland hit four shots from beyond the arc and wound up with 16 points. Jennifer Reiff and Haley Yohe had seven points each, and Kennedy Krull added six for the Lady Wildcats.
