"W" Trophy Returns To Warsaw After 21-0 Win

Warsaw is a team that prefers to throw the ball, passing as many as 70 times in a game. But on a night featuring a brisk wind and a Wawasee defense prepared to blitz, a running game was necessary to secure the trophy for the Tigers.

The chilly, breezy conditions and some familiarity with each other made for some differing strategies for both sides, with the Tigers and Warriors in a rematch from 17 days ago. Warsaw head coach Rick Orban felt Wawasee would make some early adjustments, and it would be up to his guys to adapt to the adjustments.
