PUBLIC NOTICE - Star Educational Media Network

PUBLIC NOTICE
    Notice is hereby given that on March 20, 2014, an application was filed with the Federal Communications Commission, Washington, D.C., seeking consent to the transfer of control of Star Educational Media Network, Inc. with regard to the operation and control of FM broadcast stations WLAB-FM and WCKZ-FM, as well as FM translator stations W204BF, W209BA, W215BB and W260BR from the old Board of Directors to the new Board of Directors. The members of the old Board of Directors as reported in 2012 were Jeff Berggren, Tom Ayres, Troy Irick, Ann McPherren, Don Buettner, Melissa Montana, Pastor Dave Maki and Pastor Paul Shoemaker. Upon FCC approval, the members of the new Board of Directors will be Melissa Montana, Pastor Paul Shoemaker, Troy Irick, Ann McPherren, Craig Patterson, Richard Miller, Heather Barkely, Vincent Haupert and Kevin Bontrager.
    Star Educational Media Network, Inc. is an Indiana non-profit corporation.
    Star Educational Media Network, Inc. operates the following licensed FM and FM translator broadcast stations: WLAB-FM at Fort Wayne, Indiana on 88.3 MHz at 3.2 kilowatts ERP, WCKZ-FM at Orland, Indiana on 91.3 MHz at 2 kilowatts ERP, W204BF at Fort Wayne, Indiana on 88.7 MHz at 10 watts ERP, W209BA at Kendallville, Indiana on 89.7 MHz at 10 watts ERP, W215BB at Warsaw Winona Lake, Indiana on 90.9 MHz at 102 watts ERP vertical only, and W260BR at Auburn, Indiana on 99.9 MHz at 38 watts ERP.
    A copy of the Application for Transfer of Control is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the WLAB-FM and WCKZ-FM broadcast studios located at 8 Martin Luther Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
