County Fair Going Strong

The Midway was full of families waiting in line for rides. There were lines at all the food vendors as an eclectic group of people from throughout the county converged on the fair Tuesday night.

Tuesday was among other things Kiddies Day the the 93rd Kosciusko County Fair.

So what were some favorites among the kids?




"I like the boat rides," said Jason Alexis, 4, Warsaw, who was enjoying his time with brothers, Joshua, 1, and E.J.,7.

Myra Contreras, 5, Leesburg, and her family had been at the fair for three hours when she was asked what her favorite part of the fair was.

She said she liked the swings.

"I love all the rides," said Nathan Larson, 5, Pierceton there with his family.

Today is Community, Senior and Symmetery Medical Day at the fair. A complete schedule appeared in Tuesday's edition of the Times-Union.

The following is a complete list of events for Thursday.

Thursday is Dr. Dane and Mary Louise Foundation Day, Farmers Day and Truckers Day.

Shilo will perform on the Kerlin Free Stage at 6 p.m.

The NTPA Super Semi Nationals will be at 7:30 p.m. a the grandstand.

The cost to enter is $10 and children (6 to 12) for $6.

The location of the events is in parenthesis.
