Jennifer Peryam
Times-Union Staff Writer

Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals Monday approved a variance for a fence for a Warsaw property.

Kent Schumacher, The Troyer Group and Zimmer Holdings Inc., requested a variance from development standards at 1113 W. Lake St., Warsaw. Schumacher said they want a 5-foot-high fence within 15 feet of the front property line.

In other business, city attorney Mike Valentine swore in new board member Mary Ellen Jordan. Bruce Woodward was re-elected president and Tom Allen was re-elected vice president.

The board also includes Diana Rhoades and Richard Keeven. Kyle Babcock served his first meeting as a city council liaison on the board.

The board will meet again at 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at city hall.
