North Webster Fire Department responded to a residential fire just after 1 a.m. Sunday on EMS W30 Lane in North Webster. According to North Webster Fire Chief Jeremy Likens, an unattended trash fire began to spread, and with high winds the home caught fire. The exterior of the home and siding burnt before the winds caused the blaze to spread to a neighboring yard, also damaging lawn equipment and a trailer. Though no one was injured, Likens said there was approximately $15,000 in total damage.
