Warsaw Police initiated a traffic stop Wednesday that resulted in four arrests.
According to Warsaw Police Lt. Kip Shuter, an officer initiated the traffic stop on Ind. 15 at the intersection of U.S. 30 around 8:30 p.m. in Warsaw and the four occupants of the car were behaving nervously. The officer asked for consent to search the vehicle and located precursors to the manufacture of methamphetamine.
The individuals informed the officer they were on their way to Walmart to purchase the remaining precursors to manufacture.
As a result, Nicholas Alan Boardman, 20, of 6136 W. Ind. 25, Mentone, was arrested for possession of chemical reagents or precursors and held on a $2,000 bond; Christopher Robert Sexton, 20, of 3762 W. Old 30, 39E, Warsaw, was arrested for visiting a common nuisance and held on a $350 bond; Tyler Anthony Hollingsworth, 20, of 1956 E. CR 250S, Warsaw, was arrested for visiting a common nuisance and held on a $350; and a juvenile was arrested and charged with possession of chemical reagents or precursors and transferred to a detention center.
Shuter said Indiana State Police and the local methamphetamine cleanup crew were also called to the scene.
