Three separate 911 calls were made within 15 minutes of each other Tuesday afternoon, though only one involved serious injury.
Police responded to a four-vehicle collision at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday on East Center Street near the north Lincoln Street. The drivers, Nanc J. Sausaman, 56, Brookview Avenue, Warsaw; Kathryn E. Fields, 29, North Morgan Street, Mentone; Justin P. Arscott, 47, West Blackberry Trail, Warsaw; and Amy J. Arscott, 47, West Blackberry Trail, Warsaw, were all uninjured.
However, a North Webster woman was transported to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne after being flung off her mo-ped. Teressa L. Keiser, 54, North Webster, was traveling northbound on her mo-ped at 5:10 p.m. on North Hickory Street between Market and Center streets when her tire got stuck between the road and the railroad track, according to a Warsaw Police Department crash report. Keiser was flipped off her mo-ped and knocked unconscious.
She was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital to be treated for head pain but was later transported to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne to be treated for an internal head bleed.
Keiser refused a chemical breath test at the scene of the crash. She was listed in fair condition this morning.
Moments later, a third 911 call was received reporting a motorcycle accident near the second roundabout at Fox Farm Road in Warsaw. The driver of the motorcycle reportedly sustained some injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment. More information on the motorcycle accident was unavailable this morning.
