For the last month, Jefferson Elementary School sixth-graders have studied biographies of famous people who enriched the lives of others or did something for others. Wednesday in the school cafeteria, the students then gave one-minute presentations of those people dressed up like them. The rest of the school was invited to attend the ‘museum,’ as were the students’ family and friends, to hear the mini-biographies. Sixty-two students represented a variety of people from Princess Diana to Mother Teresa. Pictured (L to R) are: Kaitlynn Gillum as Florence Nightingale; Casandra Njounape as Elizabeth Blackwell; and Layton Goldsmith as Mark Twain.
