Kosciusko County Farmers Market is opening its midweek night tonight.
The market will be open from 5 to 7 p.m.
The market also is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. until the end of October.
Set-up will be in the city hall plaza parking lot on Center Street. Many of the vendors from Saturday morning will be there with fresh produce and handmade items.
Downtown Farmers Market is a group of growers from the Kosciusko County area and bordering counties. All produce and crafts are locally grown and made.
The market on June 14 will welcome the American Legion All-You-Can-Eat breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring eggs, hashbrowns, sausage and biscuits in the city plaza. The cost is $7 per person.
The Third Annual Vicky’s Dog Parade is June 21 with categories featuring largest dog, smallest dog, owner look-alike and best trick. The registration fee is $5 per dog, with proceeds going to the Animal Welfare League. Registration opens at 10 a.m. and judging and the parade is at 11 a.m. through the market on Center Street.
