WINONA LAKE – The Bibler Family Charitable Trust presented members of the Winona Lake Limitless Park committee with a check for $5,000 in support of the multi-phase splash pad, playground and infrastructure project currently under construction at Winona Lake Park.
Several members of the Bibler family were on-hand to make the presentation.
The Bibler Family Charitable Trust was formed to carry on the legacy of Bill and Jean Bibler who shared a strong belief in the importance of healthy, active recreational activities for people of all abilities in the Winona Lake and Warsaw area. After reviewing the Limitless Park project, members of the trust were eager to support WLLP as a worthy project in direct alignment with their mission, according to information provided.
“Knowing of Bill and Jean Bibler's love for Winona Lake, it was an easy decision for the members of the Bibler Family Charitable Trust to make this grant in their honor,” said John Elliott, 1st Source Bank vice president and trust officer. “The family is pleased that many individuals will enjoy this fabulous new addition to the Winona Lake Parks Department, which also includes Bibler Park in Southtown Addition.”
In addition to the Bibler Family Charitable Trust, Winona Lake Limitless Park has received financial support from numerous corporate and community members.
