Editor, Times-Union:
Have we now lost or losing our right to free speech here in this country? Worse yet, are we losing our right to say we are Christians?
A man who is a Christian and believes in the Bible and God is asked a question about homosexuality and gives a answer that is straight out of the word of God and gets booted off of TV because of it, but you can turn on a TV and see a naked girl swing around on a wrecking ball and that’s OK?
Where did exactly Phil Robertson slander or attack gays? Cause if you take the time to pick up a Bible and turn to I Corinthians 6 verses 9 and 10 you will see exactly what he is talking about.
I, for one, am sick of every time you turn around that someone is screaming racism and slander. I think a lot of this is caused by the Obama mentality that is in Washington, D.C. It is past time that Christians and the churches start opening up their mouths and saying enough is enough. Just because there is people that do not support your homosexuality or abortions does not mean we hate you and are racist, quite the contrary these are the ones we love and want to see saved and pray for.
You can respond back and call me names or whatever you want, but I will stand with my Bible in Phil’s corner on this one. I really do pray for this country this Christmas that she will turn her face back and seek God and his guidance, I am afraid that soon the very Bible that I read will soon be banned. If that happens then what’s next?
I wish all of you a very merry Christmas, pray for our country she needs it. If you don’t know Jesus, seek him and find him and give yourself the best Christmas present ever.
