Editor, Times-Union:
I was riding my scooter on May 27, 2013, and it quit when I was riding. It would not start and I bought groceries and had to leave it. I had parked it 1/8-mile south of 300N on 100E, Warsaw.
At 5:30 p.m. I locked it to the railing. My wife and I were going to walk back to our house and had one offer to take us back to our house and we declined it. We had one offer from a driver in a truck who offered to put the scooter in his silver truck and give us a ride, and we declined it, not enough room in the truck.
On May 28. 2013, I had went back to the location of the scooter and check on it and it was tagged by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department late on May 27, 2013.
Between 4:45 p.m. and 7:40 p.m., I was going back to my house and the scooter was not there. The cable and lock were missing. The Scooter is grey with a rear black box and red trim on the seat.
I would like to ask the individual or individuals who stole the scooter to bring it to my residence.
